In this article I will discuss how to setup your AdUnits and Applications of Windows Phone 7 and Windows 8 in the Microsoft pubCenter.

Step 1: Login to Microsoft pubCenter

Step 2: If you don't have Windows Live Id,  sign up of new Windows Live Id.

Step 3: If you have Windows Live Id, sign in pubCenter using Windows Live Id.

Step 4: Fill all the details of your new Account in pubCenter. pubCenter will generate account number for you.

Note: Country or region and Currency can be changed once it is saved.

Step 5: Now  you are all set to use pubCenter. Once you are in pubCenter you will get three tabs Reports, Setup and Accounts as shown below.

Reports tab will contain all the information about impressions, estimated revenue and eCPM.

Accounts will contain all the information of your account, payment methods etc.

Setup will contain all the information about Applications, Ad units etc.

Step 6:  Overview section of pubCenter Setup will display Application Name, Application ID, Device Type, Ad Unit Name and many more as shown below.

Step 7: On click of Applications option in Setup you will get screen as shown below where all the registered application will be listed along with ApplicationId.

Step 8: Now click on Register Apps as shown below.

On click of Register Apps, Register an Application where you can enter application name and device type (Windows Phone 7 and Windows 8).

Step 9: On click of Ad units under Setup you will get below screen with list of Ad unit name, Id. As you can see there will be two tabs one for Mobile application and second for Windows 8 application.

Step 10: Now click on Create application ad unit.

On click of Create application ad unit, Create a mobile application ad unit will appear like below where you can enter Ad unit name, Ad unit size, Ad categories and save it.
