In this article I will explore how to configure multiple endpoints in WCF.
Let's start configuring.
Step 1: Download the code from my previous article Basic Windows Communication Foundation Service or if one has already service created this step can be skipped.
Step 2: Open the application and right click on App.Config and select Edit WCF Configuration. Two default endpoints are already configured.
Now open App.Config, the below configuration will be present.
Step 3: Right click on EndPoints folder and create another service with Address basicHB and Binding as basicHttpBinding. The contract will be the service which is already created, in this example it is EmployeeService.IEmployeeService
Step 4: Let's create another service using Create New Service wizard of Services folder.
Step 5: Click Next of above window, the communication mode you want to use for service will appear. One can select any communication mode as per requirement i have choosen Select Named Pipes.
Step 6: Provide address to the endpoint.
Step 7: Service endpoint configuration is done and all the details that is going to be there in the configured shown will be displayed.
Step 8: Now click finish of previous window and service is configured for named pipes.
Step 9: Follow step 4 to step 8 to create anothe service point, one can choose any communication mode, i have choosen tcp.
It is very easy to configure service for different endpoints in WCF
